Maureen, the nice aunt that I have, gave me money to buy myself the early birthday gift of my choice. I bought a Sony Digital Reader. I am in love. I have wanted one for a very very long time. Now that I have it I have only been able to buy one book to put on it but at least its a book I love, Every Boy's Got One by Meg Cabot. A classic girl meets boy and they hate each other and end up falling in love. Sadly this is the kind of book I read now. In my youth I loved all sorts of good gory or interesting books. Stephen King is still my favorite author but now Meg Cabot is creeping up on him. Meg Cabot writes happy fun books that make you feel good at the end. The girl and the guy always end up together. While Stephen King books always have a weird sense of..... weirdness I guess. I am doing my best not to buy anymore Meg Cabot books for my digital reader since I already own more than one copy of most of her books. I own 2 paperback copies of Every Boy's Got One and now a digital copy. Yes, Meg I am funding your house in the Keys. I really really want to buy the digital version of The Stand: The Complete Uncut version, but I was told $17 was too much money. But its Stephen King! Its The Stand! Two of the greatest things ever! If it wasn't for Stephen King I wouldn't have a favorite book (The Eyes of the Dragon) or be horrified by topiary.
Someday I wish to be a writer half as good as Stephen King or Meg Cabot.
