I am now an Avon Lady! I never thought I would be but then Quilly became on and while I was searching her online store I decided I wanted to be one too. Through Quilly's Avon store I signed up to be a representative as well. It took a little time for it to go from her west coast Avon people to my east coast Avon people but now I am hooked up.
I had my meeting with my District Manager on Saturday and got a bunch of cool stuff from her. I am already out of Avon books! I was out on Monday! I barely even left the house and I had already given out 15 books. Sadly so far I only have one person that will be buying from me. I don't care one person is better than no people. I have a lot to buy. I love Avon. I never really looked into into buying from Avon but now that I am selling it I want it all.
I have learned that Avon does all the research on the products themselves and more importantly they do not test the products on animals. Since I work in a branch of the scientific field the testing on animals, as well as humans, we are animals too, does not bother me. Also Avon isn't just for older women anymore. I am in my late 20's and there is a lot of stuff I want. So much cute makeup, dresses, and jewelry. I can even get face cream so I can help slow down the aging process. I have already decided I need face cream and blemish and zit and blackhead removers. I think it will take a lot of will power on my part to not spend all of my profits on Avon products.

ReplyDeleteIs that your mum without any caps ragging you on your grammar & spelling? Tell her you learned your unconventional ways somewhere -- and I'll be really glad I am this far away!
ReplyDeleteI love your business card. It is adorable. Your business name is awesome, too. Bravo. You go girl!
I see typos from time to time in the quilly blog, HA!
